I'M IN L.A. BITCH!

Today started off hella slow with doing nothing but homework and changing the oil in my car, but picked up after I got a call from Mike telling me he was bored. We didn't have anything going today and didn't have to wake up early tommorow, so Mike, Chris, and I headed to the Promenade and Santa Monica Pier, just to get away from it all.

We got to the Pier, walked.. chilled.. ate some churros.. and ate at Bubba Gump's. Best stated by our waiter, "the scenery was lovely" haha. Chris had his fun.

After eating some meann lobster and shrimp, we headed to the Promenade. Crackheads, bums, musicians, and sixth graders filled the place, but the change of atmosphere and scenery was well worth it.

GRV Auditions.

The turn out was good. Hella ppl came to try and get on the squad that took 1st at Ulimate Brawl and Maxt Out 08. Little did they know some B-Modders came out and supported.

Bert kept the music going during the auditions. Gahhdamn that boy can mixx.

Some ppl were hella nervous, but we tried to keep the humor alive. It's what we do best lol.

What Up Wednesday?

One of the better days I've had in a while. Wednesdays I have Concert Choir from 12 - 1:15 and Econ 201 from 4 - 5:50, and after every choir class Mark holds sectionals in a piano room, which is surrounded by this soundproof plaster type stuff.

We got out around lunchtime and headed over to Panda where Jay hooked it up nicely.

Headed to the API like we always do and met up with Kat who played around with the camera for a bit. I just noticed that I always catch this girl with a smile on her face lol. She's trying this thing where she won't smile for a day, but I told her "you without smiling is like a day with no sun" lol.

4 o'clock came around and I headed to my Econ class where I met someone today... I'll just leave it at that lol. Class ended, headed to the shuttle stop, and left.

The Alchemist.

After finishing up some Econ homework, I started to read Paulo Coelho's, "The Alchemist", it's about a young sheppard named Santiago who ran into some interesting people along his travels and is now off to find treasure in the pyramids of Egypt. Kat told me to read it and it's pretty dope so far. Reading takes you to another world when the one you're living in gets too much to handle. It's a nice way to get away, try it sometime.

Day at Disneyland.

Today was our long awaited performance at Disneyland with the Dance Gallery from the corner of 19th and Archibald. It started off cool, as we made our way to the park and tram.

Met up with the rest of the girls at the entrance and waited for our boss to give us the okay to enter the park.

We got in, headed straight to backstage of the entire themepark, and figured that once you cross that border, Disneyland isn't so magical as it seems lol. There were no pictures allowed back there and after being back there I think I know why. Mike, Eric, Marlon, and I rehearsed and chilled in the dressing room.

THE PERFORMANCE WENT GREAT! :D (Video and pictures of actual performance will be uploaded later) But I was glad to get it over with lol. So we finished and spent the rest of our day enjoying the park.

Some of the girls we performed with.

And other randoms.

At night, it seems like Disneyland is a completely different place. The feel and atmosphere somewhat changes and makes things feel a little more magical. FANTASMIC PWNS.

Overall, today was a fun, tiring day that I'm glad to have over with. I look forward to other performances with them and holy shit this last group photo came out sickkk. Haha.
