B-Mod Winter Retreat (Day 2)

I KNOW I'VE BEEN LAGGING! but me and as well as many others, have been hella busy lately with shit. So anyways, here it is.

Day two started off hella early in the morning. I'm not sure how we did it, but almost the entire cabin woke up around 7:30, when we all slept around 4. We all showered and freshened up for the next day while some of the board members began to cook breakfast for the team.

Wsup Theo?!

After breakfast, Neil, Jay, Jowena, Jenise, and I headed out to play in the snow. We found some old sleds in the back and put them to good use. It took Neil and I a couple tries but we finally found out how to turn. After building up our skill and courage, we decided to go off a ramp we found made out of snow... and some of us got air, while others ate shit.

Headed back to the cabin hella tired, I ate lunch and it was nappy-time for Karl. After I woke up, the snowboarders came back from their adventures and we began to cook some dinner.

Following dinner was probably the best, most meaningful part of the retreat. We separated into little groups, and we were asked some questions, personal and not, to find out just who B-Mod really was. It was a very important learning experience for all of us, because everyone took in something from the big group we created afterward. Whether it be getting a shitload of things of your chest, pausing everything in your life to catch your breath, or learning to become grateful for the things that you do have... i can guarantee you everyone in that cabin was touched one way or another.

And so the drinking begins... DEFINITELY not as bad as last night tho. Albert unfortunately, was not able to stay sober the second night and take care of us, although he is funny when the guy is drunk.

Day 2 was definitely a more chill and laid back day. Learned about my B-Mod family, bonded, and draaank.

To be continued...
